First 925 silver collection
All those goldsmithing lessons paid off, because six months later I launched my very own 925 silver collection! Every piece was handmade, taking at least five hours for each order that came in.

UNWIND X BIRTHDAY PARTY
Our very first birthday party! Since I was not making enough money with UNWIND yet to cover my rent, I worked as a nanny on the side. I often made jewelry with the kids at home, so when it was her birthday there was only one celebration she wanted: making her own jewelry with friends!

Meet our first hairstylist showcasing our jewelry! Britt has been one of the first female entrepreneurs who encouraged me and helped me believe in my dreams. She also is my go-to hairdresser from day one, so if you’re in need of a stylist in Breda, definitely go visit her.

new store: SWAN BREDA
The SWAN store owner discovered me at the market and invited me to join, but I kept saying no, because I was afraid it would be too much work. Ironically, the store was right down the street from where I lived. After a year, I finally decided to give it a shot and caved in.

At last, the webshop was generating orders, and I was doing my best to keep up–especially since I promised shipping within 24 hours. As a one-woman show, it was challenging sometimes, but I’ve always managed to make it work.

The picture may look serene, but it was anything but that! The wind was so strong that day, sending business cards, jewelry, mirrors–everything–tumbling around. Despite the chaos, it was a wonderful experience being so close to the beach with my jewelry in the Netherlands.

first time buying real gold
As you might be able tell from the expression on my face, this was anincredibly exciting moment! Buying–and selling–real gold was one of my dreams when I started the brand, and just under a year later I found myself living that dream! (I had never spent this much money in my life)

After purchasing the gold rings, I immediately got to work filing and polishing all the pieces. I had one mission: to launch this collection online as quickly as possible.

making trays for the stall
Since I was unable to find jewelry trays that fit my vision, I decided to create my own! I took pottery lessons for a year, and that’s how our unique market stall was born. I’m joining a new course in 2025 to make it even more fun and aesthetic.

first 'real' shoot
It was my first time hiring a professional photographer and renting a studio for a photoshoot. Of course, I was shooting with the help of my good friends again. The expression on my face says it all: eternal gratitude.
